This year we asked CEOs to tell us what they thought would be the ‘next big thing’ which would impact their business, industry or society over the next 10 years. Technology was their top pick. Investments in customer growth and retention strategies, people development, as well as risk management were also high on CEO action plans.
CEOs seem to feel that everything is now in flux – from where and how people live and work, to the wider social and political contexts in which companies interact with their stakeholders. The question for them, then, becomes not if they should act, but how quickly.
